So, how well are we really doing?  Are you ready for that "no-notice" OFSTED visit?

So, one class is doing better than another. The teacher says its the kids. The manager says its the teachers. The OFSTED inspector says the data shows there is a problem with progress in that year group and wants to know what you are doing about it.

The school gets better progression data than the school down the road, but the local parents think their child will do better at the other school.

One lesson observation says the teacher is outstanding. The next says he is satisfactory. The HOD says he needs to be fired.

What's going on???

If any of this sounds familiar, you will know that judging how well you or your staff are doing is actually a pretty complicated business.

This half day seminar presented by Jane Borgeaud in London on Saturday 3rd November, will help you get to grips with all of the information available to help you judge where the strengths and weaknesses of your school or your own practice lie.

Whatever your role in the school, this course unpicks how you can identify development needs accurately and distinguish cause and effect in order to drive your own development or that of staff and to argue your case against unfair criticism in a way that a variety of stakeholders can understand.

£85 including VAT and registration fee

Registration at 10am - seminar ends at 1pm

Jane Borgeaud - Having worked as a class teacher and senior leader in Hackney, Jane Borgeaud went on to work for 8 years as an Education Consultant, providing consultancy on teaching and learning and management to over 200 primary and secondary schools across Greater London.
